Altitudian Recipes - Roasted Chickpeas & Prawn on Bread

Roasted Chickpeas - easy snack and so much better than potato chips

INGREDIENTS
Tin of chickpeas
Seasoning of your choice
INSTRUCTIONS
Drain and pat dry 1 can of chickpeas.
Add a bit of oil and season as desired for example...
paprika, chilli & rock salt
butter and Miso paste
garlic, salt and pepper
or go sweet - cinnamon, sugar & honey
Bake at 180deg until crunchy, turning every so often.
c. 30-45 minutes.
Prawn on Bread - French Style snacking
INGREDIENTS
Shrimps
Cucumber
Bread
Cream Cheese
Lime
Japanese Mayo (or normal)
Oregano, salt, pepper, sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
Fry shrimp in oil and add salt and pepper for seasoning. Leave it to cool down.
Cut cucumber into thin slices.
Cut toast and sliced cheese into 4 squares.
Mix 3 tablespoons of cream cheese with 3 teaspoons of lime juice, salt, pepper, 1 tablespoon of mayo (I like to use the Japanese Mayo)
Died or fresh oregano and tiny bit of sugar in a bowl together.
Place in this order:
Bread
Cheese
Cucumber
Sauce
Prawn
