Pole dancing classess. Zero treadmills, endless "Holy sh*t I just did that" moments. Let's get strong together →

Introducing our Altitude Ambassadors.

Our community is full of amazing humans. From studios across Aotearoa, we’ve chosen a small group of Ambassadors to represent the heart of it all - here to share the nerves, the wins, the sparkles, and the “took me ages to get it” moments.

So without further ado, meet our Ambassadors. 💜

Chanelle

Kia ora, I’m Chanelle a proud mum of two who joined pole on a whim just under three years ago and got instantly hooked. What began as curiosity has grown into a passion that challenges me, excites me, and pushes me to discover strength I never imagined.

Pole has given me confidence, resilience, and a way to celebrate what my body can do. Along the way, I’ve found an incredible community of lifelong friends who inspire me every day. No matter what kind of day I’m having, I know that stepping into the studio will lift me up and melt away my stress.

Clint

Hi! I’m Clintivene and I’m a busy working mom who doesn’t always get much time for herself, so joining pole has been the best way for me to get moving again while also reconnecting with my body, especially after a tough pregnancy.

Pole has given me more than just fitness, it’s given me confidence, joy, and a community that cheers you on no matter where you’re at in your journey. Everyone is so welcoming, supportive, and that makes you feel comfortable in your own skin. It’s honestly the best vibe!

After living in Nelson for many years, I moved down to Christchurch last year, and thanks to the pole community I’ve made so many new friends and feel completely at home here. I’m beyond excited to be an ambassador and to share this empowering, fun, and uplifting journey with others!

Jodi

Hey!! My names Jodi, I'm a solo mama of 5 and my pole journey began as soon as my youngest turned 6 weeks old. I've been with Altitude for just over 3 years now and I've never looked back!

I'm currently working through level 2 and absolutely LOVE a flow class! I've actively tried to push myself out of my comfort zone by performing in showcases and competing at NZAPP.

I never thought I could be this physically or mentally strong and I just wish I had started sooner! Pole has changed my life in so many amazing ways and I hope to inspire others to give it a go!

Outside of pole I love fire dancing, hiking, cooking and games! Although Pole is my true passion, and Altitude is my happy place.

Lee

If you’d told me in my twenties that one day I’d be heading into my fifties, upside down on a pole in 8 inch heels and grinning like a teenager, I probably would’ve rolled my eyes. But here we are - and honestly, it’s been the best decision.

I realised straight away: pole wasn’t just about moves, it was about confidence, community, and learning to celebrate your body exactly as it is.

Being an ambassador feels like an opportunity to give back to this world that’s given me so much. I want to shout from the rooftops (or at least from social media): pole is joy, pole is freedom, pole is for you. Whether you’re shy, bold, bendy, stiff, twenty, or older like me, the pole doesn’t care.

It just wants you to grab it and see what happens.

Lizi

Howdy! I'm Lizi, you'll recognize me by my neon orange hair and loud cackle. You can find me rolling around Altitude Redwood. I dress like Adam Sandler most of the time but I give big mum energy. I'm an elder millennial and I'm ok with that.

My favourite hobbies, other than pole, are baking (and feeding people) and reading. I exclusively read smutty romance, don't ask me for recommendations, you'll make me blush.

My favourite classes are Floor Flow, Level 4 and stretch. I love to surprise people with my unexpected flexibility (remind me to warm up if you see me out and about to drop into the splits).
