Be honest. How many group activities do you actually remember?

The escape room was fun. The bowling was... bowling. The paint and sip produced some questionable artwork and a mild wine headache.

Then there's pole dancing.

The activity where someone who hasn't exercised since high school surprises everyone - including themselves. Where the most unlikely person in the group ends up being the one who doesn't want to leave. Where the group chat is still going two weeks later because someone found a video and had to immediately share.

It's the difference between doing something together and experiencing something together.

If you're looking for a group activity that's fun while it's happening - and leaves you smiling every time you're reminded - you're in the right place.

What's included in a private group booking at Altitude?

Your group gets a private studio for the session - disco lights, full length mirrors, the poles, your group and your instructor.

Speaking of - you'll have a dedicated instructor running the whole thing. Beginner spins, floorwork, and a short routine you'll piece together as a group throughout the session. No experience needed, no fitness level required. Just a willingness to give it a go and laugh at yourself a little.

Sessions run for around 1.5 hours. BYO is welcome - bring whatever makes the occasion feel like a celebration.

A reason to book. Or no reason at all.

Birthdays. Work dos. Team building that people will actually enjoy. A Saturday with no real agenda but a group chat that's been quiet for too long. Altitude group bookings work for pretty much any occasion - here are the ones we see most:

Birthdays - Because another year older deserves better than a dinner reservation.

Work events & team building - The one work activity that actually gets people talking on Monday.

Seasonal celebrations - Christmas parties, end of year dos, Halloween. Any excuse.

Stag parties - Yep, pole dancing isn't just for hens. Grooms and their mates are very welcome.

Friend group catch-ups - Sometimes you just need a reason to get everyone in the same room doing something ridiculous together.

Just because - Genuinely one of the better reasons.

Got questions? Your answers may be below 👇

Do we need any experience?

None at all. Altitude parties and private events were made for beginners - a big part of the fun comes from doing something new together.

How many people can come?

Group sizes vary by studio. Get in touch with your nearest Altitude and they'll let you know what works in their space.

How far in advance should we book?

The earlier the better - our private bookings/party slots fill up fast, especially on weekends. A few weeks minimum, a few months if you can.

Can we BYO?

Yes - bring the bubbles. Just keep it to after the session rather than during, so everyone stays safe on the poles.

What should we wear?

Comfortable activewear is always a good option. Shorts are actually helpful - skin contact with the pole helps with grip. Bare feet or socks for the session, heels optional if that's the vibe you're going for.

Or you can dress up, but just keep in mind some things may be a bit harder if your clothes restrict your movement.

How does a booking work?

Fill in the enquiry form below and your selected studio will be in touch to sort out the details - date, group size, style preferences, all of it.

Are group bookings & parties the same at every Altitude studio?

The short answer is mostly, but not exactly.

Each Altitude studio is independently owned, which means offerings, pricing, and availability can vary from location to location. The best thing to do is reach out to your nearest studio directly - they'll walk you through exactly what they offer, what special extras they may have and help you figure out what works for your group.
