Introducing Rhiannon, our Auckland Studio Manager

Updated: Aug 2, 2018

Rhiannon (Rhi) started out as an assistant Studio Manager in late 2017 and has recently taken on the role of full Studio Manager of Altitude Auckland. We are super lucky to have her on board making sure everything is ticking along beautifully and we have lots of awesome events and activities happening. We wanted to share a little bit more about Rhi so you can get to know her better...all very vital pieces of information as you can imagine ;)

If you could describe yourself in one sentence what would it be?

Overly positive and slightly obsessive

Other than pole dancing, what else are you up to in life?

My time is literally split half and half between pole related activities and events and dog related activities

How long have you been hanging out at Altitude for?

I started at Altitude about 2 years ago - I dont know the exact date

What made you try pole dancing?

I did a 8 week beginner course after I split with my partner of the time of 5 years.

Three words to describe your first class?

Nothing compared to Altitude- okay that's 4 words but lets say I wasn't hooked at first.

What is your favourite part of your new role so far?

Getting to know the students in a more in depth way. Hearing their stories, their struggles, their victories. Its the first job I've ever had where I truly feel like I'm having a positive impact on people lives.

What are you most looking forward to doing in your Studio Manager role?

Getting more involved in the pole community, seeing the studio grow and our student progress <3

What piece of advice do you have for anyone thinking about pole dancing and for those who have just started?

Be ready to fall in love with glitter, unicorns and booty shorts as well as making a ridiculous amount of new friends.

And now...the very important pole questions...

  • Cheeky brazils or full bum coverage? Brazil

  • Static or spin? Static

  • Heels or barefeet? Heels

  • A pole without mirrors, or a pole without grip? Pole without grip

  • Pole wear brand you could live in? Miss Shells <3

You can find Rhi around the studio, teaching classes and on the end of most of the emails - never hesitate to get in touch with her, she's more than happy to help!
